About Skills Development

The combination of our current economic climate, high unemployment rates and alarming skills shortages are the biggest recipe for unending disaster in South Africa.

Youth unemployment in the King Sabata Dalindyebo and Mbhashe municipalities exceeds 70%. These communities face a significant skills gap in areas including sustainable agricultural practices, carpentry, welding, plumbing, electronics, innovative dwelling construction, and small business management

Every day, we generate and indiscriminately dump waste, endangering our environment and causing harm to our planet.
The non-recycled disposal of tyres and plastic bags is inflicting irreversible harm on our environment and the health of our communities.
Unemployed youth have the opportunity to acquire new skills by transforming old tyres and plastic bags into exquisite furniture and tiles.
It’s time to tackle household waste and create a greener environment
