We are thrilled to have hosted our first-ever Academic and Non-Academic Awards at Viedgesville Primary School!
The top 3 students from Grades 1 to 7 were recognized, along with those achieving Level 7 in their subjects. We also celebrated students who demonstrated positive values, along with standout performers in sports, drama, and the arts. The Teacher of the Year was awarded to the educator with the most student awardees.
Impact
- The buzz generated by these awards increased school enrolment from 138 to 160, an exciting development for a school that has struggled to exceed 140 students in the past.
- Celebrating academic and non-academic success is fostering a culture of excellence, personal development, achievement and support within the school and community which can inspire other children and families to value education and community involvement.
